The Tuesday Night News Radio Mixshow and Rosewood Barbershop announce the launch of Rosewood Radio

New radio show brings Barbershop talk, new music and fashion to the airwaves on June 28^th

(Buena Park, CA)-May 17, 2011 – Online radio mixshow, The Tuesday Night News and Rosewood Barbershop Buena Park, officially announced today they will be partnering together to bring you a brand new radio show – Rosewood Radio – which will go live at 8 p.m. (pst), Tuesday, June 28^th, 2011, which will feature New Music, fashion, and exclusive interviews with some of today’s top tastemakers in the entertainment industry.

The show will broadcast live from the new Rosewood Barbershop location in Buena Park, CA, which just opened up its doors in March and is an extension from the original Rosewood shop in Bellflower, CA.

Rosewood Radio will feature special guests in music entertainment: up and coming and established recording artists and djs, as well as special guests from today’s hottest fashion brands to discuss the latest news, trends, and hot topics in their areas of expertise, as well as their current and future projects. The show will be host by the Tuesday Night News’ own, DJ A_ron and Carter Lav of Rosewood Barbershop.

Alongside the best new Top 40 music of today, Rosewood Radio will play music from many different genres including Hip-Hop, Underground Hip-Hop, R&b, Electro, Pop, House, Soul, Reggae/dancehall and more. Rosewood Radio will also premiere music from new album releases, as well as exclusive, un-released, never-before-heard, material from artists alike. Guest djs will also have their opportunity to showcase their talents in their favorite genres of music & promote their clubs/events that they will be playing at that week.

“I’m excited to be working with my boy Francis and the whole Rosewood family. This is going to be a great opportunity to bring out new music, showcase artists, give our friends in the fashion industry a venue to promote their brands, and discuss topics that we talk about on the daily, when we walk into the barbershop to get a hair cut,” A_ron says.

DJ A_ron has hosted and worked with the Tuesday Night News and Offtherecordmixshow.com for 2 years (online radio for 4 years) which past guest interviews include Far East Movement, New Boyz, Mann, Kristinia DeBarge, Jo Koy, So Real Cru (America’s Best Dance Crew season 2 semi finalists), Roscoe Umali and Nick Cannon’s newest group, the Wonder Broz.

Its crazy that 2 years have actually went by, doing this radio show called the Tuesday Night News. I started this thing 2 years ago with just a small vision and a dream, of bringing new music, exclusive music, a chance for guest djs to shine, and a platform to showcase upcoming talent as well as possibly checking out an interview by your favorite artist. I had no idea it would get to where it is today and never dreamed we would even have the support from the well known artists and djs we’ve had guest on our show. From the New Boyz talking about how “You’re A Jerk” came about, to Far East Movement calling in to clear up the beef rumors with Talib Kweli about his unofficial remix of “Girls on the Dancefloor”, to having the very first interview with Sabi (The Bangz) since the accident with her band-mate, Ella, last year, having Kristinia DeBarge stop by the studio to talk about her upcoming projects, and having Nick Cannon’s newest group, The Wonder Broz, come by and World premiere their music video for “Chitty Chitty” before any other radio or TV outlet could! It still blows my mind when I think of all the guests we’ve had on the show. I’m very thankful for all the guests, djs, artists, promoters, friends, and family that we’ve had come by on the show and supported one way or another and im especially thankful for the team behind the scenes as well, that helps make sure the show runs as smoothly as it does: Troof and Mike Mayo. Also thanks to our PD, Dj Orion One who first gave us the opportunity to even do a show on his Offtherecordmixshow.com. So now its time to celebrate the 2nd Birthday of The Tuesday Night News! Last year we had Roscoe Umali perform at our 1st Birthday at Cantina Lounge in Fullerton, CA. This years party will take place on SATURDAY DEC. 18TH, 2010 at Kavikas in Long Beach, CA. Special Guests will be in attendance so you definitely don’t want to miss this one!
